I write.

Fiction or fact, an article or a screenplay, advertising copy or news copy, I’ve been writing all my career. Over the years, I’ve built brands, told unique stories and in the process understood how the world works, at least in my corner of it. As a trans woman, as a writer, as a storyteller, I have also tried shining a light on corners that needed it, and helped changed the way the world understands those on the margins. I also help other writers find their voice, through classes I teach at university level, and through workshops.
